Thanks for all your videos showing off the Surly Corner Bars - very helpful! Out of curiosity, what width did you select out of the 46cm, 50cm, and 54cm options?

I went with the 54cm. I run 800's on my full suspension so I figured it would be a easy transition. The Surly bars are super cool because you can just just transfer your mtb brakes and shifters over.

do you like it ? I'm going from monster gravel (salsa cutthroat) to hardtail mtb (mondraker chrono) but would love a drop bar conversion as I need to change my position quite often and be more aero for long roads... so is it a viable upgrade ?

I really like the Surly Corner bars, lots of hand positions and mtb brakes and shifters are compatible.

Do you find that it lowers your stance on the bike? It seems, I would have to raise the bar to get them up to a comfortable level.

Yes a bit, I raised the handle bar with a spacer underneath but when climbing it feels pretty good. When on the road I normally use the top hand position

It hasn't happened yet. If it ever does, I'll probably think about on rides.
