Love that we didn’t even bother discussing kyrios losing in the first round 😂

Sinner won in 3 sets and Nicolas Jarry was intense … Jannik always the right balls at the right moment enough to win in 3 sets

The Chilean should be proud of the effort made, it was never going to be easy and he had the right plan...to just go for it, but it was always going to be complicated to maintain that level for a best of 5 set match against the current best hard court player around.

Those first 2 sets... 7/6 7/6 pretty tough. Pity to lose Jarry so early. He's a great player.

Thanks for these recaps, they're invaluable these first days when, as JW correctly mentions there's so much going on, and living in LatAm, we're not really in a timezone that is conductive to watching the later matches :)

Can you please comment on how the tennis is literally impossible to watch? It’s not anywhere on TV

This court scheduling for this event has been horrendous so far. Why schedule your 3 biggest draws for the tournament at the same time. And make Alcaraz have to play on a small court. And if you see the schedule today, they have 2 unseeded nobodies playing prime time on Laver. Makes no sense

Tiafoe would've been much less exhausted had he not choked away the 4th set vs. a rando unranked player. Good guy, but I don't see him ever being more than a lowere top 20 player. Much like Tsitispas, who fooled me for a few years there, thinking he'd be a relevant figure at majors regularly. Well done by Oskaka. And on we go.

Nice going with the picks... I had 24 correct answers to win 100 k in FanDuel.... But I went ahead and chose riki hinjikats over Krueger guess what ... F lost... Nice call Andy .. never gonna believe u idiots when picking 😂 players. Mess me up bad .. I can't work anymore I'm tired. This was my ticket. Anyway I also bet against tiafoe and against michelsen.. Out of a 25 parley I had 23 both nights .. first night titsioas and reinderneck failed me. Last night hinjikats .... Oh ok .my bad... Popyrin just lost also... Ok I had 3 mistakes.

Was there anything interesting to talk about that match? Genuine question, I didn't watch it, I barely stayed up for Sinner's game as in my zone of the world that's as late as I could go considering work commitments earlier today, missing Alcaraz and Nole/Andy's game, which I really did want to see. Its very easy to miss a game given the guaranteed quality of other matches available.
