Here’s an excellent forum with people happy to help new soapers learn; www.soapmakingforum.com. FB groups can be a mix of nasty with the good, and for beginners you may not be able to discern good advice from the bad. Hope you decide to make soap!

Lavender soaps are always so pretty to look at, but they are not allowed in my house (due to allergy). I love your style Tiggy, even when your method doesn't change much, each soap looks different and lovely. There's a few of yours that I will pay the international shipping for because they're fantastic, unlike anything I've found over here, and I really have to try (sparklebox, four and twenty blackbirds, and festival)

Lovely soap Tiggy...... interesting comments on Mystic Moments EO & FO. I have bought EO from them and they are great quality. FO well they smell amazing but two I have used have turned to concrete as soon as they touched the batter. Even my soap cutter would struggle getting through them. I know only two but I won't buy any more FO from them. Real shame :(

I've never used their FO. Their EOs are brilliant though. X

Hi Tiggy, I think it is fantastic that you are offering your basic recipe for sale. I seem to recall you saying that you use palm oil as well. I'm just starting my soap business and my market research has shown that in Germany you can't sell soap with palm oil. Nobody wants them. Too bad - otherwise I would have bought your recipe immediately!
