These would be wonderful Christmas gifts but I have a question. I live in Europe and our notebook sizes are different. So was wondering how much space do you allow for the pockets for the back of the notebook to fit in, on top and bottom, if that makes sense.

I added 1 inch for the height and 1/4 inch for the width.
