Quick Temporary Fix Buzzing Vibrating Fridge Noise - loose condenser plate

Thanks so much! Our brand new whirlpool was making the same noise. I ended up stuffing some plastic electrical wire and jammed it under one of the feet for the same effect. No more loud pitched noise!

I fixed the vibration noise on my Hoover fridge/freezer by using a plastic cable tie and wrapped it round the corner of the white plastic evaporation tray that sits on top of the motor, then hooked it to the black grid that is on the rear.

Mine is brand new indesit arrived today. That's the noise! I've leveled it and put cardboard under the feet which has muted sound. But day 1. Unfit for purpose. Returning it for a refund. Shouldn't have to do these makeshift fixes on brand new appliance!

I am fairly sure that the vibration and low-frequency noise is coming from the compressor (LG linear inverter, LG FMA088NBMA). However, pushing the compressor does barely reduce the noise and the condenser plate is not movable like that. Do you have any idea what could be causing this? Is this normal operation? All I can say is that I am tempted to kick this stupid thing...

I haven't touched it again as this temp fix worked. Maybe when we upgrade fridge and I sell this, I may fix it permanently if it's worth it.
