Hey everyone I thought I'd share how my New Hake Brush works. It's a Winsor and Newton 1 inch hake and it is actually very good. It doesn't shed as much hair, which is what the reviews state, and it comes to a chiselled edge without any effort at all. My initial test of the Winsor and Newton hake brush shows that the washes are smooth and not streaky and the brush comes to a lovely chiselled edge with the minimum of effort. I've tried these brushes and these are the best quality so far. They don't loose hair, hold a lot of pigment and water, keep a very fine point and have some spring back. Excellent both for washes and dry brush work..

I think you can really discern the difference between a 25mm Hake brush and a one inch Hake brush 🤔….you can get a lot of value out of a goat … mohair shawls, curries and Hake brushes…anyhow it looks very good and we are all looking forward to a full sample demonstrating it’s capabilities 😊
