The painting turned out great 👌. I started painting again recently after a break of over 6 years. There was still paint in a fold up palette, some of it very watery (cleaned that up as of no use), but some I could use. The dried up paint on a palette is only like rewetting a hard pan of watercolour, so perfectly usable. When I first started painting, I was going to painting classes, so I used to clean my palette at the end of each class in order to have a nice clean palette for the next lesson. I also used to throw away part used tubes of paint because I couldn't open the top. I imagine that I wasted many ££££s until I realised what I was doing 😂

oh yes, i'd clean up at the end of every painting so that I too would have a clean pallet to start my next painting. But because I paint away from home (no choice) i don't get the chance to clean things up. But I do find that it saves time if a colour you need is already mixed. Although dry it can be rewetted and used again. Thank you for sharing

Sounds great. It's a super way of saving paints. Can you imagine that I used to wash the whole pallet down the sink? It galls me when I think of it Thank you for watching 🤩

I appreciate that you created something great. I've bought a lot of art supplies and have done nothing with them:/ I enjoyed your music as well:)

But friends and family made me start again. I actually stopped painting for about 20 years. Friends gave me art supplies so as a matter of courtesy I started using them. Just start. That's my advice to you

You ends up using paper (paper towel) to wipe (lift) off a lot of paint, anyway.

That is true. At some point you will need to wipe it down. Thank you for watching :)
