Dianne, I learned more about how to maneuver the brush from this Quick Tip than from anything else till now! Thank you for it. You can be sure that I will be doing this exercise many times. I do have some minor questions, though, about the tip. Firstly: with what did you "dampen the brush" before you started painting (7'03")? If it's a solvent I won't know what to do.. Secondly: did you treat the canvas, itself, with poppy oil before the demo? Thirdly: the brush doesn't seem to look like a filbert -- at least not on my monitor? Is it? Lastly (on a different subject, actually) will you be doing a quick tip on different methods of value correcting when combining two colors (without constantly seeking out the value finder)? Squinting doesn't always help me to match the two values. Thank you once again! Carol
