Better tighten that guide bushing a lil more

This is not ideal at all.Because it makes the end of the bar bigger. If the main chuck moves away from the guide bush, it will cause more vibration in the guide bush

We will try to do another update on this with more program detail - in this case, we are running a very thin part - so the distance from the guide bushing does not impact us but you are correct - for a different geometry, that could be an issue. The part is so quick and thin, we are saving time by not re-chucking every part, but doing it every 5 - the bar end is still very close to the optimal size because the 5 parts in 1 cycle are not very long - but good feedback, thank you.

This place is clearly lying to you, to cost your shop wasted time. It chuck's up close to the part, so the bar doesn't wander around. You will have inconsistent parts! So the time you save will be wasted running more parts.

The guide bushing is what keeps the bar steady in the cutting zone. He's absolutely right.
