I started life as a technical illustrator, working by hand with ink on acetate sheets (yes, I know, I'm as old as the pyramids!) and one of the things I illustrated was pneumatic hose assemblies in mining machinery. Lord, so many hoses, over and over, countless dozens in a single illustration that looked like an explosion in a spaghetti factory. By hand. Enough to drive you mad. Watching this video, my younger self would have killed to have this kind of tool at my disposal. I know CAD programs like Softimage have had this kind of capability for a while, but they're highly technical and not exactly creative tools for designers. Awesome. Thanks for the tut!

So glad you liked the video! That’s quite the story, man. I feel so lucky to have such technology so readily available. I can’t imagine drawing all of that by hand!

I haven’t, actually! I think this add-on covers everything I’d ever need when working with curves. ☺️
