I would suggest you to change the spongy ortholite insole in the Salomons. Makes a huge difference!

Great video! I need a new show for RockMan- Salomon or adidas hm.. ? Would you recommend the adidas even for a slower racer?

I think they would both work well. Just know that the Salomon will hold more water and may feel heavier. What are you running technical trails with now?
