The Adidas Terrex Speed Pro SG is a shoe built for running fast on soft ground, with a lightweight design and an outsole that features 7mm lugs to bite into the mud and keep you upright even when charging through bogs and down fells.
It’s a shoe that Run Tester Nick eyed up as a great cross-country racer from the moment he saw it, and he’s been testing it in training and races early on in the season to see how it handles the muddy rigours of the UK XC scene. Here’s his verdict on the shoe.
