Thanks for showing the pin stitch. I haven’t tried that before. Love Fall on the Farm Cross Stitch. The quilts are beautiful too.

Love your tips. Maybe when showing stitches could you use a larger count fabric so it show up a bit bigger? You guys are so good at sharing!

I’ve never heard of pin stitch. That’s so good to know! One question I’ve wondered about is thread conditioner. Is it really helpful? Does it reduce knotting or twisting? I’ve never used it!

Woo! That's a great question! We'll get that prepared and answer your question in the future episode, I'll let you know when we try it! - Emerald

I like to railroad. I will have to check out the pin stitch, as it is a little different from other ways I’ve seen. When you Crosstitch, is there any certain time of day you like to stitch on a higher count fabric.

Love Table Talk! I thank you for today’s as I have never seen the Pin Stitch. I am going to try this. My backs are not necessarily the neatest 😐😐

Thank you! And that's totally ok! We feel like we do get messy back as well, and we are learning with many who want to get a neat back! But as long as you have a way to finish it, it's totally alright to have whatever back you have!

Love your table talk ! My question is when you are stitching a pattern do you fill in a big area and come back and do the remaining ones? When I do this my stitches they don’t look so good.

I had never heard either of these terms. Going to try and remember “railroading” when I start my next project. Probably should not change my technique midstream. Question . . . I have seen some Instagram posts on coiled bowls and rugs using fabric scraps, some sort of filler and a needle with perhaps crochet cotton. Has anyone on the Pine Needles team ever tried this?

We have! Sandy and Robin have both made some, Sandy used cotton clothesline, and some scrapes as decoration and we used a tutorial found online, let me know if you'd like a link to it! - Emerald
