Hi Michael! 🎉❤ I had my life completely turned upside down in my early 20s and I also suffered a series of mental breakdowns. Im not gonna go further into that or say Ive been through the exact same things you are going through but I do feel you when I sit here and listen to this very sincere update you are giving us. And no there is no need to get too personal or publish your life here any more than you already have. Im saying that out of respect for you and your family. I didn't take part in the indie gogo well mostly cause Im broke but yeah hopefully I will chip in something in some future project of yours. And yes there is no need for you to do livestreams until you feel better again and you yourself feel the time is right. Your streams were always the best but I can also understand they were probably pretty stressfull to host. I still need to watch Fatal Future btw and I will get back to you and share my thoughts on it a bit once I have. It was good hearing a bit from you again and please try and just take life one day at a time when it feels bad. ❤📽️💜🎃

When you don't have the backing & machine of a big studio behind you -- it truly is guerrilla film making. And this is how indies get it done -- in bits & pieces. And good for you spending time addressing your mental health needs -- we all don't spend enough time on it. Let the Manatee Party play on.

I empathize with what you're going through. I do miss you, your videos and your wacky humor. You have to take care of yourself first and only come back once you're able to enjoy the process of creating videos again. I wish you the best and hope you have an easier time once you achieve the proper diagnosis as well as getting the treatment required

Appreciate the update, Michael! With the name change I feared the channel was gonna go the way of Classic Game Room back when Mark turned the channel into a T-shirt store or whatever it was, but now I can rest easy, and hope you can as well soon. ❤ Didn't realise Manatee Party was the name of your production company, but now that I know that and the reason behind the change (and perhaps having gotten more used to it) I love it!

I found you via your F13 reviews, and stayed for the education. Through your live streams I found the similarities between photography and filmmaking, learned about Pinku Eiga before my mission to adult shops in Japan, joined in writing a sleezy porn script about a talking penis, but most importantly was distracted away from some really tough times that had me in a very dark place. It saddens me that I can't do anything to help you as you did me during those times. Know that I will be thinking about you, and hoping for the best. I always signed off your live streams with "be well", now more than ever I wish you "be well" and take care of yourself.

Keep fighting the good fight. Eager to see the stuff that you'll continue to bring to the table. Being neurodivergent myself, anymore I take it with a bit of the "spice of life" category knowing that while it for sure comes with some challenges, there is a whole lot of uncovered strengths there as well.

Hey man, you do you- you'll get there! Takes a lot to make a movie (need to get back in the grind), but I still look forward to DDF & the future films!

Not a problem at all! Take your time, thanks for the update. Your mental health is much more important than us receiving a movie. I hope everything gets better for you!

Flesh Wound Features loved The Head, and we can't wait to cover the new film. I've been there man, never hesitate to reach out if you need to talk on the mental health struggle. Shooting on no budget can be a nightmare at times, but you are a uniquely talented dude, and your films stand out from the pack.

Hope you get your formal diagnosis soon, because you sound like you have textbook ADHD and the right combo of meds and therapy tools would probably alleviate a lot of focusing issues and easy distractions, which seem to be the throughline in a lot of the issues you discuss here. Thanks for the update. Your mental health and well-being always comes first. Good to hear from you, and hope things are on the up and up for you soon.

You have an amazing wife and son and your friends to help and support you while you figure out what could be the solution to your mental state. Have you looked into long haul covid symptoms. A lot of what you said you are going through reminds me of a co worker that has it and his symptoms. Good luck with your journey to get to the bottom of your situation. 🤜🤛

Michael you don’t have a bad Brain 🧠. It’s just different and like all of us you’re trying to find your way in life and I’m here to tell you. You’re fine the way you are. You got a family and a him and your not living at your mothers. I wasted a lot of my life with melancholia. And it’s only at 30 I found joy. Stop telling yourself you got a bad brain. That’s counter productive to mental health. I’d also recommend a support group. So you learn you’re not a unique snowflake. Melancholia has a lot to do with the life you lived has an effect on your emotional state. I would recommend that even after your diagnosed try and go further with your therapist. Because a simple diagnosis won’t help you find your better self We humans are complex animals. I’m sorry for the speech, but I really believe that self improvement possible for everyone.
