Question ID 1802 in Shift Il on Plato's thought on poetry has again wrongly set options. Because it's Aristotle who defended Poetry and said it is the imitation of reality. While Plato said that Art or poetry is twice removed from reality, it's the "shadow of shadows". So logically only one option goes with Plato' s thought on Mimesis . And it is , Poetry is "distant from reality". And that's why he suggested of banishment of the poets saying "Poets are Liars". Plato viewed poetry as: 1. An imitation of reality 2. Self subsistent really 3. Distant from reality 4. Manifestation of reality 5. Life as experience in reality. This question should be dropped.

In the evening shift, the question about the Booker prize is definitely wrong. Since 2014, booker includes writers from all the nations writing in English. Hope someone has challenged that. And what about the cutoff of JRF for General?

Yes if the answer is changed then marks will be deducted but if they drop the question we would get marks
