Watching vlogmas daily. I feel like your videos are my advent calendar “gift”. I embarked on a 2 year Ed.S. Degree and finished this August. I felt like I would get my life back. However, life had other plans and I feel more drained than ever. The mental load we carry as working moms is heavy. I am glad to hear you start to ebb into a calmer headspace even though you are still juggling a lot. Sometimes our minds and body can handle it and other times we feel utterly overtaken. Stopping by to say that you do matter and I am very appreciative of your perspective in this virtual, social media space!!

You can also use a sharpie on the container itself. It washes off pretty easily or you can always use a magic eraser to get it off!

I bought the different size of deli containers from Amazon several years ago. I love them. I use them for all of my leftovers for the fridge and freezer. I love that they stack on top of each other so you can make better use of your refrigerator or freezer space.

I use freezer tape on my containers. Never leaves any glue on container. Place it on a room temp container because it won't stick if container is already cold

It must be rough having to travel so much and be away from your family, but you do such a great job at prepping foods and making sure the fridge if full of good things for your family when you have to travel. It's always cool to see other healthcare professionals' lives and watch how they too navigate the seemingly impossible schedules of our jobs. 💪🌲 Your meal prep videos always are entertaining and give me good ideas about things I may not have thought of before. I pack my lunch daily (saving time, money, and energy) and it's cool to see how others go about it and the best way to keep things fresh. And nothing is more satisfying than neatly packing your food into cool bento boxes and organizing your lunch box to look pretty each day. I love using those deli containers. I also found some dissolvable food labels on Amazon & they work out great. I can label what food is in it and the date it was prepared. The labels dissolve quickly in water so they wash off easily. It solves 2 problems for me. 1-My spouse has food sensitivities so clearly labeled food eliminates his “is this ok for me to eat” concerns. 2-the dates make it easier to know what I should use up first or if it needs to be tossed.

I thought I was the only person who did the oven shuffle. I have a stove from the 60s and it has a double oven I use one side for roasting only and the other one is everyday use no matter the placement of the racks or temperature I've always had to do the oven shuffle😂❤

I LOVE deli containers too. I use freezer tape on the top (when freezing). Use for chicken stock, leftover soup, etc. for the freezer. Good for when you need to give something away like soup or sauce. Your videos are always inspiring.

I have the Pioneer Woman cookie scoops in two sizes. Excellent. Pretty too. I have a different print. I just made my yearly Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies by request and my co-worker was so happy she texted me 2 hours later to say thanks and they were delicious. Ppl don’t realize how just the gift of a few cookies can improve your relationships! Sally and I made a deal on Thanksgiving - I make her cookies and she will make me her spring rolls (she always makes a batch for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Eve Day and this year I missed them because I came in later). I am waiting for my spring rolls now! Almost as wonderful as the ones from my local Asian restaurant - better because I know whose hands made them!

😅Jen, you can write on any plastic containers with permanent markers and it will clean off with an alcohol wipe. I guess permanent isn’t really permanent 😂😂😂 Also, I can relate so closely to you . I too am just feeling like myself after years of mental health struggles which have affected my weight my entire adult life. I’m much older than you, but my brain thinks we’re the same age❤
