You may be looking at reports on a cash basis which would not show the AR

Hi Matt 😊 First off, I absolutely LOVE Quickbooks University and I appreciate you taking the time to make all of these videos. However, I have a question please… I reconciled with bank downloads, went back in way later and applied the checks to the invoices but now from the report, Transaction Detail By Account, the income is doubling. For example, the report says… Invoice, Accounts Receivable and $4830 Invoice, Accounts Receivable and $7518.35 Deposit, the bank account and $12,348.35 (which is the total of the 2 checks). The amount at the bottom of the report is taking all 3 of these numbers as Income. Can you help me fix this please? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. 😊

How did you record the original deposits that came through from the bank feeds?

Hi, my question is that when I am paying bills, I go to set credits and sometimes I can't check certain ones however if I check set credits after every bill I check then I can check the credits I want. Is there an easier way to set the credits one time for one invoice instead of every bill on the invoice. Thanks!

I believe if you go to Preferences you can change the setting to automatically apply credits

This will happen when you view reports on an accrual basis. Change it to cash basis and you won’t see it

What can you do when an invoice disappears or is accidentally deleted after payment is applied and deposit is recorded.

Re-enter the invoice and apply the credit to the outstanding balamce
