Are there any videos that cover taxes based on "Ship To" information?
@worldwidequickbooks2 жыл бұрын
Thank you but the "ship-to" information does not yet determine the sales tax rate. You still have to put that yourself. -Mark

Hello, I use QuickBooks online Plus. We have 4 types of tax on sales, Covid Levy 1%, NHIL 2.5%, GET Fund 2.5% . These 3 taxes are taken on the base value. However, there is a 4th tax VAT which is charged @12.5% on the invoice value + the sum of above 3 taxes. Could you please guide as to how to set up such tax in QBO. Thanks

Thank you for your question Before I comment, I suggest that you click on the top right of this video and watch the full playlist in proper order to make sure that you're not missing any sales tax topic. The reason I suggest that is because the playlist was designed for people to figure out for themselves come for themselves, exactly the type of unique specific situation that you are asking about. One or more of the videos in the playlist, if you watch it in proper order, will give you at least most of what you need and you should be able to think of ideas on how to apply the knowledge from the video to your very specific and detailed sales tax situation. If you still have questions about how you need to be set up after you watch the full playlist, then I would have to do a private session with you because it would be irresponsible for meetirresponsible for me to give you any decisive answer without asking you more questions and getting more information and that would take time energy and attention. So please watch the full playlist 1st because you might not need me after that and even if you do need me after that you will need less of me because you will have watched the full playlist. My email is worldwide quickbooks@gmail.com Please confirm that you found the link to the playlist and please touch base with me as soon as you are done watching the videos Mark

I don't see Custom Rates in our Quickbooks Online? I went exactly where you are and there's no option below tax agencies?
@worldwidequickbooks3 жыл бұрын
do you have the plus version of QBO? If there's soemthing that shows in the video but you do not see it in your QBO account, you may have a tech support issue. look closely all around the window. Sometimes they move something and they don't tell you where to click. Explore every click option in the window and then let me know. -Mark

Hello I use a crm to pay invoices and sync them with QBO. My invoice won't sync due to the tax items being different. Tax rate of 7% and 7.5%. Can you help me find a solution to this? Thank you.

Thank you for your question That problem does not make sense to me at all as it is explained Why would you record in your QuickBooks records different amount than the bank recorded in your bank's records? If it doesn't match the bank then you're not recording the original transactions correctly Look in the description text and find the link to the full playlist and watch the full playlist in order to properly understand the topic of sales tax so you can record the transactions the right way Mark
