I have had the pleasure shooting on the same squad as Nils in some competitions. It is awesome to watch him in person and he's truly a great guy. He is very down to earth and hasn't let his skills go to his head.

Taran is proof that red dots, or even iron sights for that matter, are not needed to hit a target, especially in a self defense scenario. When you shoot a basketball at a hoop, there's no sights, just hand-eye coordination.
@crasian4203 ай бұрын
taran is a uspsa grandmaster lmfao you're not that guy
@innerlightfilms3 ай бұрын
@@crasian420 I practice shooting targets in my backyard without focusing on the sights. It's not as hard as you think. Just requires practice, which Taran obviously has more of than me, but it doesn't detract from my argument. Most self defense situations happen within 10 yards. Don't need perfect sight alignment for that.
@markdye1031Ай бұрын
Taran is an amazing shooter, with or without sights. Watching this video and concluding that sights aren't necessary is a bit like watching an NBA player shoot baskets blindfolded and assuming that is the best way to play basketball. I've watched Taran compete a bunch of times, and I recall that his guns had sights on them and he wasn't hip shooting. His skill level at hip shooting is pretty impressive though!
@innerlightfilmsАй бұрын
@@markdye1031 no my point is in a self defense situation you don't always have time to get a perfect sight alignment. Taran couldn't have shot those targets blindfolded either. Its all about hand-eye coordination. So many people practice shooting at the range in ways that will not be beneficial when the adrenaline is pumping.

AB-SO-FREAKIN-LUTELY UNREAL!!!! However, wannna know what I wanna see MORE of? My man Lewis Hamilton's time @ TTI. If Taran is saying the guy's the best natural shot, WITH ZERO EXPERIENCE, he's ever seen, can you even imagine how good he'd be if he trained regularly? Granted, if you're a 7 time F1 Champ, you probably ALREADY have superhuman hand-eye coordination. Too bad pistol competitions don't pay what F1 does! 😂
