Quicken Tutorial: A Menus and Features Walk-Thru

In this video, I'll do another Quicken tutorial, going over all of the top-level menus and toolbars that you'll see when you first start using Quicken. There are a few different toolbars, and to be honest, a lot of the features that you access with those toolbars overlap, which means you can access a feature in Quicken in a variety of ways.
So I'll show you how to do that from each toolbar, and then I'll go over how to customize the overall menu so that you can narrow it down to just what you want to see and have it work the way you want it to. I believe it will be quite beneficial for anyone just starting to use Quicken, and we'll explain how to get all the features you may use.

Im just showing the software in general. If you are using the Mac version or Siimplifi, it will look different, though.

Great tutorial's, thank you! You solved my suddenly missing account total problem. I am Canadian so have almost all accounts in C$. However I in error created my US$ bank account in Canadian currency about 10 years ago so it has many recorded transations! I also have a US Visa account that was correctly created in US$. I pay the Visa bill's from the US$ bank account. Quicken doesn't let me change an account currency when I try to edit it. So right now I'm asked for the "exchange rate" each time I enter a transaction (1:1). And of course the US$ show up as if they are C$ in the bank account. Is there anyway to fix this? I am wondering if I create a new bank account in US$, whether it's possible to bulk transfer all the transactions from the old account? Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm on the Windows Quicken Classic Business & Personal version. The home and business additional has always only been on Windows, but I was just looking at the Quicken website, and it seems they may have recently launched a Quicken Classic Business & Personal version for Mac! Though I can see already some of the features are not in there. But hey, it's a step closer.
