Quicken was setup before my time, so I didn't have a hand in how the preferences were handled and we have upgraded to Quicken Classic Business & Personal (so we can generate invoices) at least a year ago. I am finally getting time to poke around and learn more about Quicken and while watching this video --- I noticed that under "calendar & currency" mine is showing Calendar Year; however, we are actually Fiscal Year. If I were to switch that now --- what would that potentially screw up? If i include all dates, it goes back to 6/30/2002. Our Fiscal Year is 7/1/xx to 6/30/xx. Please let me know.

I'm just trying to figure out where the best place, on my PC, is to install it. Currently it is installed on my desktop, but shouldn't it be installed on/in a program file or something

If you are talking about the database file, Quicken defaults it to a folder in your documents folder. Thats better than the desktop. Just FYI, while its not technically supported by Quicken, I store mine on a dropbox folder so I san sync it across a couple computers I use.
