QUICKEST EVER!! SHINY SUICUNE IN GEN 2 AFTER ONLY 25 SRs!! | POKÉMON CRYSTAL VIRTUAL CONSOLE

OMG THIS IS SO UNBELIEVABLY LUCKY!!
Most of you might know that Crystal was my first Pokémon game that started it all for me which is why Suicune is my all-time favorite legendary. Therefor, I had to get the Virtual Console as soon as they announced it. I didn't even plan on doing this hunt before Celebi but seems like my love for Suicune is mutual ❤
I hope this is an omen for good luck and many more shinies in this nostalgic game! :D

Got a shiny raikou yesterday, my first and only self-caught shiny legendary. I couldn't believe it when it appeared, and only in a few dozen resets. I didn't think such things were actually possible for me. I'm currently hunting Shiny Suicune to compliment it, wish me luck

Congrats I got my shiny celebi under 500 sfr and I cant believe I got that thing, I'm still stoke about it, It never cross my mind to get it soo fast and yet I got it and still dont believe it happen I also have a video when it apear, but dang Im happy because is my very first full ods shiny pokemon and its very precios to me at least...congrats on your suicune and my favorite pokemon is suicune also and poke crystal is also my game that starter all for me as well....

C Robinson in crystal suicune is a garunteed spawn and wont run away. It battles you unlike the other two where you have to hunt it. This is a set encounter

England 1 Iceland 2 You would have to save at the Burned Tower just before all 3 legendary beasts jump away. Then you would need to find them in the grass. If they're not shiny, you soft reset. So it's gonna take quite a long time per SR.

That's not actually true. In gen 2 roamers IVs are generated randomly every time you encounter the pokémon so you can encounter it as many times as you want, it will always be different. All you gotta do is encounter the raikou to see if it's shiny, if it's not shiny then you just flee and try to re-encounter it.

Emery Z thats not true. The DV's of the roamers are set for each of them when you first encounter each of them. They dont change when you run from them. However, if you were going to shiny hunt the roamers in GSC, you could save before you encounter any of them for the first time and reset if theyre not shiny

So only the time that the DV's are determined is different from HGSS. So instead of saving before you "let them loose" you can just got outside to skip the cutscene with Eusine and save at the nearest route. That sounds not too bad either.

Ruthless Aggression by tapping the bottom screen and reset there. But you can also soft reset by pressing A+B+Start+Select, but you risk soft resetting over a shiny this way.

Got it thanks, cause I have had probably close 80 soft resets and I have not gotten it on my Crystal version and I thought I was doing something wrong. But I really appreciate the input on this. I won't give up till I get this one. I just miraclalously wish If I transferred the shiny version I could possibly teach him Sheer cold since I have heard reports about the hidden abbility been confirmed for this guy.

Good going on getting the shiny, but tbh I very much don't believe this took just 25 soft resets. Without even going into the video yet and just based on personal experience along with friend's, it takes anywhere from 1,500-4,500 soft resets on average just to get one shiny. If lucky, you can maybe get it under a thousand but still around the 800 mark which has happened for me before even but just a handful of times. I've honestly not seen this video yet and am typing this comment beforehand, though just based on the title and your claim to gain a shiny in such a stupidly low and quick amount of time truly deters me and I'm sure some others from watching. Perhaps I'm just crazy but regardless I can't be the only one to stumble across this video and think you just showed the final 25 soft resets of what could have been god only knows how many in reality. You could've even started the hunt weeks if not months ago and no one can ever really know. Not to mention that it just seems way too convenient to land a shiny on such a fairly solid number, any variables of numbers ending in either 0 or 5 are just naturally sketchy and draws even further suspicion. In conclusion, once again good going on the shiny I'm not taking away from that, but 25 soft resets I'm gonna have to call bullshit on.

Flip JuJu Odds are odds nothing I can do about. You can get salty and mad, I would be too...but I know this to be true and if you don't believe it well who am I to persuade you to think anything else. Look anywhere on KZbin you will find both super quick (like first encounter) shinies and 50k+ encounter shinies, so anything is possible and if you are a shiny hunter you know that. The rate of encountering a shiny pokemon in Crystal is 1/8192 from what I heard (basically it is that big of a dice roll each time you try to encounters one). So you can reset it 1 Million times and never see one. (If the game was able to count previous encounters, it would make shiny hunting way easier).
