[LIVE] Shiny Suicune after 14,936 SRs in Pokémon Crystal VC

Another shiny legendary added to the collection at last!
Really happy to have this one. Suicune may be one of the most iconic legendaries ever made. And it only makes sense that is had its own game being how amazing the design of it was.
BDSP is right around the corner and I can't wait to star my hunts in those games! See you guys in the next one!

I got incredibly lucky with this, I got it in under 50 resets, it made me insanely happy too, shiny Suicune is one of my favourite pokemon! Congrats to anyone that gets this gorgeous looking pokemon :D

congrats on the suicune! it was my second full odds shiny (after abra from the game corner) and i got super lucky, with only 43 soft resets! currently im hunting chimchar in platinum, right now with 2000 soft resets, and i hope i'll get it soon!

Suicune is easy to catch with gatr because of ice punch and his low special attack. You can get the freeze easy while getting its hp low to catch with any ball.

I don’t count the days or hours. I only keep track of the encounters since time varies for every hunt. I’d recommend you do the same :)

Just to clarify, to get this you are literally manually switching the gameboy on and off? At approx say 26 seconds a time, you have spent approx 108 hours of manual on / off repeat doing this? First time ive come across this so just wanted to check what's entailed. Thanks

It’s called “soft resetting”. What you’re referring to is know as “hard resetting”. A soft reset requires a button combination (unique to every generation of system; gameboy, ds, 3ds etc) that simply resets the game to the initial startup.

Tip shiny starter can only be male gold silver crystal because of dvs ivs in later games

Event Pokémon Are more easier to get as Shinies as all you need to do is Keep Resetting the game well at least if it’s not Pokémon go.
