Amazing trick!!! I used rubber bungee chords because I didn't have a spare belt, but it still worked just fine...

Sweet ride. I have a 1964 4 door wagon. I put a 2004 LS1 4L60E in it for my wife😜. Get more attention than Camaros and Mustangs and very practical. Good luck with the 2 door. Erik

Tried it today worked awesome mostly with my 30 year old pulling on it have used chain in the past this is much better rubber gives you traction Thanks Lucky

Needs a 65 front clip... .. love the 2 door wagons... now throw a l76 and a 6l80 in it...

That is a good tip. I'd probably end up punching myself in the teeth with channel locks. But now I know better.

Would be cool to get a wrecked camaro and take the full interior and drive train and install in the wagon. I'm sure some stuff will need modified but this would show everyone that they can make this work

Ok, here's one for a tech tip. How do you remove a spring from a door hinge. I'm thinking specifically of a 65 mustang, but many are the same.

My 56 plymouth hood springs are vertical, and between the hinge bars (one bar outside, one bar inside. Recommendations?

That is way better than having a pair of vice-grips lamped to the spring and pulling as hard as you can while your helper hold the hood up as far as he can. The vice-grips slip off and you elbow your helper in the eye and you both fall off the car. Just sayin'...

Lucky, go grab one of your 1in ratchet straps. Just the long side. Dont even need the ratchet. Get whatever length you want, wrap it around your hand and use the hook same way your using the belt. Little more adjustable that way.

Man bad rotator cuff I've been out of work wrenching for 3 months almost cause of that the pain from it, sucks, mine is bad enough I can't even drink a beer with my right arm anymore

Another way to do it is use a wire and vise grips instead of the v belt
