Good tutorial! It seems like no matter how closed lines look on the lineart layer, one has to always close gaps when switching to color layer. I wish that step was not needed since I feel it slows down the workflow, especially with longer animations.

Yes true! But what you can do is deal with the closing of gaps on the line art layer first then perform the operation to send to colour art. Or if it’s already complete but just a few frames in the colour art path, change the fill tool to be 8-10 for gaps closed. It’ll make it easier to whizz through the task!
