To add, when making these adjustments on the curve hold SHIFT while moving a point to only move vertically, hold ALT to make the movement in all directions slower making it easier to fine tune(tone) and use ALT+SHIFT to move slow vertically only.

The sliders underneath the curve are good for adjusting the sort of bias of the curve between each point, the gradation between shadows/mids/highlights, which you can't do solely by manipulating the positions of the points without adding more between them. Good explanation though, particularly with the colours in the rainforest.

Great vid as always mate. Probably a silly question so apologies, when in the editing process do you use the curves? I normally start with the auto then tweak from there
