Why make a 400 lb capacity chair that only fits 18" wide? If a person weighs 400 lbs they're going to require a least 23" minimum seating.

Hi Charlton, thank you for our feedback. There's 18.5" of space between the armrests, then with the optional spacer kit, 22" of space. Body composition plays a large role in what a customer needs in a chair. Believe it or not, we have had customers as much as 400lbs purchase an Eagle without the spacers and have no issues.
