I thought a benefit of the ceramic ball interface was it wouldnt wear or have lock stick? Ivr had 3 25s and a umnumzaan and never had stick neither with 6 21s and 4 mnandis

well everything can wear over time i guess, especially when you are a little rough on it. Sometimes you can get stick with these, when they are not well tuned in. But if you treat them well and use them resonably you should be fine. Cheers!

Can you try this with a Sebenza 21 that doesn't have the ceramic ball interface?
@megaronknives30324 жыл бұрын
Hey man, I would try the same thing on the Sebenza. If this doesn´t work I recommend you this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKiWhYOPe7SjlcU. Naturally there will always be some locktick left on titanium with no inlay, which is good, it keeps the knife from failing.

I sold my Sebbies (large and small ) because they didn't live up to the hype (my fault for buying into the BS) and unfortunate lock stick. Overpriced and outdated IMHO. Thanks for video.

It really took me a while to get to understand mine, but i am actually happy with it now. I can clearly see how this not for everybody though.

How can we be sure that’s not just sunk cost / stockholm sindrome talking? :)

You can find video after video of CR saying that lock stick is due to bad geometry. Were those knives produced while he was still at CRK?

Can you hurt a knife if you while open push the lock bar in??
@megaronknives30324 жыл бұрын
You mean if it wears quicker on the lockbar?

The ceramic ball is a terrible design from a structural integrity perspective. Absolute garbage. Slippery tiny ceramic contact patch against sloped slippery blade tang. What complete fool came up with that idea.

I personally never had an issue, nor do i know anybody that did, so it might be fine.
