It just dawned on me that the name of the German Leopard tank is spelled identically in both English and German. Listening to QB butchering the "Erich" part of this tank I suddenly realized it's the same with the Leopard. An English speaker will say "leperd" but a German speaker will also pronounce the 'O' and wil pronounce it "lay o pard".

It's spelled the same because it's a name... names of humans or companies, or in this case tanks generally don't change spelling in different languages... the way you pronounce it might be different, to adapt to your languages grammar, when those letters come in that order, which is why "Erich" gets butchered by an englishman. (not literally😅) I do get your point though cause a Leopard is also a type of animal, and animals are often called different things in different languages, just in this case Leopard is Leopard in english too, which means it gets the english pronounciation of the word Leopard. But in the case of Löwe meaning Lion, Luchs meaning Lynx and Maus meaning Mouse, it doesn't get translated because in the context of the game when we say Löwe we mean the tank and not the animal. I feel like i did the worst job possible explaining that, but now i've written it i don't feel like changing it or deleting what i've written😅

My favourite gun is on the WT auf pz tier 9. It's just such a good gun. 560 damage with under 9 second reload is juicy. And it's so responsive and personally much more accurate than the Grille 15 even though that has better dispersion. Probably due to the gun handling.

Balanced MM is a factor of opinion. Returning/casual players are at a monumental disadvantage to the pro's/hardcore players; Not just in knowledge but in crew skills and equipment. There's literally four different levels of equipment now. And one of those levels of equipment has three additional levels that are unlocked by an exclusive currency, in addition to field mods. Having a fully upgraded tank today simply means you've reached the equivalent of "Stock tank" five or so years ago. Maxing out on upgraded equipment and field mods is equal to or greater than unlocking a new, higher tier tank; it's a quagmire. But a good looking Quagmire.

@ mm matches tanks most of the time. Which imo is lame. What they do not do is match skill. I always get shitty teams. Yesterday I had 11 games straight of lopsided loss’s. The games lasted 2-5 minutes. It was a shit show. It’s annoying af to say the least. There is no good matches anymore. There is no strategy involved anymore.

Yes, but WG have surprisingly shown some restraint so the tier 9 prems are reasonably balanced. The Battle Pass reward tanks seem to do just as good, if not better than the Tier 9 prems

In 2-3 years time I wouldn't be surprised if WG start power-creeping tier 9 by releasing stronger and stronger premiums to the point that they become on par if not better than the tech tree tanks. Why does the Kpz EK1 have worse traverse speed than the Leo PTA on soft terrain? The EK1 has higher base traverse speed, better ground resistance on soft terrain and better hp/t (not sure if power/weight ratio is relevant).

26:26 Yes, I do. Mediums really shouldn't be able to hit that hard with such insane precision. Back in my day high alpha dmg meds came with low penetration, bad accuracy and dispersion values (e.g. T-44 with 122 mm or the chinese mediums). I think its absolute madness when Meds hit as hard (if not harder) as Heavies do but with barely any drawbacks. They got speed, camo, vision... basically anything except armor which isnt really that much of a drawback. It's so toxic to play against them, especially on non-city maps.

Just at the end QB addresses the main thing for a second only. Its such a money grab. We just have had boxes and battle passes and all other firms if mobey grab and we had awedful marathon plus inglux of the people from the other serverd made playing experience extremely bad on the EU servers. It's a tier 9 so... not at all unique. I won't bother with boxes and I'm what folks my call a 'whale' The *ONLY* reason someone would really want this is to play it like their Leo Proto without having to have a dedicated crew and can train their Leo1 crew. That's pretty much IT.

Seeing games with fully trained crews, field mods and top tier equipment is nice but I wish he showed games without field mods, with a potato crew and stock equipment. Seeing how an “ordinary” player would experience the tank sets more realistic expectations for how a tank will perform. Seeing it “pimped” is good for the “end game” experience.

This tank is just a flat out better Leo PTA. They are basically the same (lets be honest, the mobility is excellent for both, the armor is non-existant for both, the gun is functionally the same), but the Erich has that 30% better Gun handling and 2° extra gundepression in exchange for 1,8% base camo rating. Just look at it like this: Slap an exhaust on the Erich and vertstabs on the PTA and compare. The Erich *still* has the better gun handling, has the better camo now - *as well* as 2° gun depression. The only thing missing is the awesome HE rounds. And i would definitly trade those for all the advantages the Erich has...

The camo difference is the biggest weakness compared to leopard so I would always take exhaust, but yeah. The massively better gun handling, gun depression and mobility makes this tank way better then Leopard PTA.
