No, the two tanks are very different, the german one is much more focused on long Range fights Maus: outclassed by Type 5 Heavy , not realy, maus has tremendously better armour, E 100: outclassed by 60 TP , this one is almost true. Grille 15: outclassed by Strv. 103B, not realy, grille has a turret and better alpha. Jdpz. E100: outclassed by Obj. 268 v. 4, both have different roles, the jaeguru being longer range and slower Leopard 1: outclassed by K-91 not realy, leo has a turret and is a bit faster, plus better alpha. E50 M: outclassed by M48 Patton and Obj. 430 U, m48 has worse armour on the hull and accuracy, 430 has much worse accuracy as well, and weaker hull.

More like nerf all statistics for the gun, since it's mounted on smaller and lighter tank with more compact turret, then it will be logical to have worse reload, aiming, dispersion, etc. compared to barn turret of E-100.

Even Tier 10 tanks like the E-100 were designed in 1943/1944, whereas every other nation's Tier 8-10's tend to be late and postwar tanks. Germany's big, clunky paper-napkin-prototype tanks simply can't compete with newer tanks that have the advantage of many more years of design refinement. Look at the King Tiger and T29. Give the T29 the same exact gun as the KT, and it would be a better Tier 8 than the KT is.

A maus is more interesting than a Type 5 in certain situations, for example it has a better armor and it can beat up a type 5 in a 1v1 thanks to his dpm depending of the environment.

QB - I hope this reaches you. There's a weakspot you've failed to mention (although only useful at close range), to the left and right of the upper plate above the tracks, that very flat triangular plate is 70 mm of armor. Although at an angle of >70 degrees (negating ap and apcr unless aimed down at), it can be penned by heat because of how heat works, and at the angle you were sidescraping at, it's about 230-250 mm of effective armor, so most tier 9 and 10 heat rounds should be able to pen. I was surprised by it earlier today and checked it out for myself Sorry for the long winded explanation lmao

No the E75 at tier 9 was a good choice bcs it still a very good tank in fact the only buff it need is it DPM and aiming time . The E100 how ever would need a turret and lower plate buff about 10-20mm also buff the tier9 stock gun would be a good plant too

Premium ammo is the issue. Rarely do standard ap/apcr ammo ever pens an e100 turret unless its a td or medium.

S Conq+E100+IS-4+705A= kurwa mobile Has a rather weak turret ring, but is way way smaller than the E100s turret. Germans after 7-8 tiers still didn't learn how effective angled armour is. Anime tanks, on the other hand, well they have Maus like armour and are still lighter

I feel like heavies should be capped at like 600 alpha max, except for e100 since that is all it has. I don’t feel like heavies should be getting into such high alpha. Also instead of adding a new line next they should push out some buffs of our favorite tanks.

Yeah I am with you on that. Gen them pen and lower that alpha. After playing the 60TP, it's clear the tank lacks pen. If it's not a flat plate without spaced armor, it won't pen. Just take way the high damage and give it the pen. Brawling while not being able to punch back is just dumb and boring.

Spare time G I think they made a Progetto marathon because it was a new game mechanic. There would be no reason to make a marathon for the 50TP, it doesn't introduce anything special. Edit: I do agree, marathons for new premiums are awesome tho

I do not know about statistics, but I think more people spent money on Progetto than if they had not made the marathon would have. the trick here is not finishing 100%, but they (wg) knows, that most of us will be like 40-50-70% done, that really tricks our brain that we are getting nice deal, and makes us prone to buy the rest 60-50-30%. so I think they will get much more money, if they incorporate marathons instead of this bundle sales...

the 60tp feels like a mix between the 705a and is4, also i was playing around with this in the 60tp, since it's a giant gun and it has 8 degrees of gun depression, why not lower the gun in front of the driver's hatch giving it a little bit more protection

Well at least thats more than we can say for the 113. The IS-7, WZ-111-4, and Obj. 430U (which is literally better in almost every way) all make for superior tanks. Granted tho the IS-7 makes pretty much all the other heavies in the game useless anyway. Sure they gave it -7 degrees of gun depression over the sides, but that doesn’t make up for the fact that a fucking medium tank has better frontal armor everywhere

This post is a year old, with over 180 battles in my 60TP, it's really not that great of a tank. The whole line struggles from a lack of pen as well, heat as gold rounds makes this tank just one horrific tank. Personally, I dislike it. For a "Super heavy" it's not much of a brawler if the rounds can't get through.

I don't know a lot about tank design but it seams to me that its hull is too small. To move that massive turret and gun you would need a big engine. Maybe it has a more modern design; didn't WG make this tank up?

What interests me even more is, how can this possibly weight 60 tons, when: Leo 1 with at best 70 mm armour and small turret with 105 mm gun weights 41 tons E50M with about same size hull, with thinner armour and 105 mm gun in tiny turret with thinner armour weights 62,2 ton (over 2 tons more than this) IS-7 with about the same size hull with on average slightly thinner armour, smaller turret with about same armour weights 70 tons. Closest competitor in size, armour profile, gun, etc. Obj. 705 A weights 101 tons. I would like to know, what kind of material did polish used to build one of theese, oh wait, it was never build, it wasn´t even properly blueprinted, I guess some existed, but they were never properly finished, what I heared.

The T110E4 performs much, much better than the T30 for me. As nice as the T30 is, it's a one-trick pony. The E4's hull armor allows it to play a variety of roles. And if you're willing to press that 2 key, the difference between 320 APCR pen on the T30 vs. the 375 APCR pen on the E4, is absolutely gigantic.

Hmmm you bring up a good point about the 152mm gun vs the 150mm gun. I know in Warships the overmatch mechanic is very important, but are there many significant plates of 50mm armor in Tanks that this would affect? Like, are there many situations that would give the 60TP the advantage over the E100 because of the difference? Besides the 60TP's turret top that you pointed out I mean.

Just buff e100 turret armor so you are unable to penetrate with premiumrounds when you angle the turret, because its useless having a "superheavy" which gets penetrated from any angle by Premiumrounds

It would be awesome if Wargaming adds the Maus turret as an alternate for the E-100 (and the 15cm as a mounting option) as it was supposed to historically. That would make the E-100 a bit better so you could only hide the lower plate, angle the turret at 45 degrees and you would be fine as long as you fired when the enemies are reloading. Of course that would undermine the 60TP a bit, but all the same the Maus turret would be better.

Yeah E-100 will need a buff imo if 60TP's going to be it's rival. (Well rivalry is not the most fitting word given that rivalries are usually between two relatively equal parties, but I digress.) I'd say a turret armor buff for the E-100, so that it could hold up at least a bit against the 5% rounds, would suffice. Heck that turret is the main reason I sold mine after 240 + games in it.

this will be OP against the 3-5-7 mm template wg uses all the damn time in high tiers so consider that very well! the LFP with 240 mm effective armor will bounce all tier 8's reliable and even tier 9 will struggle to pen it.

The only Tier 10 I have is the T110E3. I feel that this 60TP is a great vehicle to replace it. I'm also surprised QB didn't aim for the hatch on the upper plate to showcase how easy/hard it is to hit it. Too small of a target to be reliably hit?

Ever think they made the overmatch mechanic specifically require one extra millimeter instead of just being even on purpose? Specifically to benefit Soviet guns. Most are weird sizes. 122 instead of 120. 107 instead of 105,152 instead of 150.

I think that compare e-100 to any tank is irrelevant. I current version he is outclassed even by tier 10 premiums, and some tier 9 tds. So he need better sloped turret that bounce some gold, or some change to premium ammo mechanic.

German tanks are out of meta now, except maus, today meta is about corridor maps with superheavy tanks with the best armour and best damaging guns, combine with gold ammo spam so that wg greed to increase, also with powercreep tier 8 premium tanks aka defender

Tiers 1-4 are utter shit. Tier 5 is not bad, but stock grind is awful. Tier 6 is not bad also, but too slow for medium, you should play it like heavy. Tier 7 is good and 8,9 and 10 are beasts.

Yeah, but WG gave it the armor, HP, and firepower of a super heavy so the actual weight doesn't really matter.
