timely! lately, I been feeling a sense of "hush" in my spirit. no words coming out my mouth. just smiles, wonder, and gazing at Jesus. at first I thought I was being lazy with my prayer time. but, if I am ready to stand in the presence of God without words & my heart is positioning in expectancy, how is that wrong?! J L , God bless you! The word of God says: as the word goes forth out of my mouth, that it would not return unto Him void but accomplish that what it’s set forth to do. It also says that if we won’t praise Him, He will make the rocks cry out. J L , I don’t know about you but no rock will ever take my place! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Psalm 118:24 says- this is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it! We have to make a decision everyday to rejoice no matter what happens throughout the day. God bless you!😊

Eric, can you always feel God? Sometimed after I have a mega encounter with the Lord I feel like He hid His face and I don't feel Him. Why is that? Did I do something wrong? Is He punishing me for doing something wrong? Is He testing me? Because right now I am struggling and I can't not feel God and have that at the same time. Yknow?

May I just add some caution regarding that wonderful passage of scripture that speaks of 'abiding'. The instruction is that we abide in Him, the vine..... and He abides in us. We abide in His Word & in His Love (choice & a deliberate discipline)and His Word & His love abides in us. John 15. We have a relationship with Christ and grace is given to empower us to abide.......... fantastic. Have a great life :-)
