Thanks so much! Yes that part is a bit of a pain. I don’t know it a different blanket/fabric combination wouldn’t need them as much, but I found with mine I just couldn’t leave it as it just didn’t work without. ☺️❤️

That’s gorgeous your hexie blanket is so pretty and the floral fabric goes beautifully with it. I’ve backed a couple of pram blankets with flannel to make them soft and cozy because I’m allergic to wool I don’t want a baby to have the itch that it can cause.

Ahh thanks so much! I’m mostly self taught I guess. My Nan taught me to knit when I was a child, so that came back to me quite quickly. So my Nan could knit and crochet, my other Nan knit and sewed. My Mum was very creative and could knit, crochet and sew. She’d make us clothes as kids too. I guess I was always surrounded by it, even if I didn’t take it up at the time. ☺️❤️

Thanks so much! Yes it was nice to avoid that for sure. Kind of wished I left all the ends as it seemed to turn out ok. I think it was an old bedsheet, it was like a brushed cotton kind of like flannel fabric.

Thanks so much! I don’t have a tutorial or a pattern for it I’m afraid. It’s one of those ones where I just wing it! It’s literally just a round of dc’s (UK) and then granny’s to the height you want though, super simple! ☺️❤️
