I will forever be grateful that Nickelodeon created many of my childhood memories including that talking burger-cooking kitchen utensil that basically made me the creative mind that I am today. But Nickelodeon and Paramount Global/Viacom can absolutely burn in the hottest, deepest and worst parts of Hell for allowing all this horrendous and inhumane debauchery to go on as long as it did. My heart goes out to those affected.... yes, especially Drake Bell.

@watsonsmith4126 do you think Disney didn't groom kids? They sure did just there's was bad. .like someone should be in prison bad. How Isner allowed Disney to make CP not once, or three, but 5 times in 4 years is just WOW. That's not even the grooming. Why Isner would you allow CP. Worse states like Texas and Florida allowed it. Igger can at least go to PRISON if they had the balls. 5 films openly violate the Child Protection Act of 2003. 2 violate the 2010 CPA. Then..you have the Satanic shows made for D+. You have the issues with Suit Life of Zack and Cody. The Canada shows issue. Owing the Kate's money for there ABC movies. The liabilities from ABC being sued. The horrible messages in ABC shoes. YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW THE HELL THAT IS DISNEY studios. Then you have the parks.. oh worse year of college.

Her mom saw some weird patterns in these shows and Id already known about Schneider through videos on KZbin but this docu series really opened her eyes to what our kid is watching

What Schneider did was very skeavy and very disgusting. I also kind of knew he has a foot fetish considering he does have feet in a lot of his shows from drake and josh onward. The girl with the potato is Ariana Grande, I rembember there being a joke in Victorious about Ariana's uhhh..chest size, in one episode. And the little bits at the end of Victorious in each episode 'she does it way better than how my mom does it' 'but it hurts'

I use to love ICarly but now I just see it as problematic, especially Sam. I hate how Sam solved so many problems using violence and she only got away with it because she is a girl. One of the worst moments in the show was when she physically attacked Freddy until he admitted he liked Fred's videos. Ĥow did that make it on TV?

I actually am one of the people that always had a eerie feeling about Nick growing up, not that it was bad but that it was just different from MY big 3 rotation growing up, (Cartoon Network, Disney, Nick) the shows were always funny but I always felt uncomfortable about all the foot stuff, even as a kid it stuck out to me and sometimes the humor just wouldn’t land properly (for obvious reasons in hindsight) .

I had seen the memes about Dan Scheinder for years and I kinda remember the Drake Bell stuff, though I wasn't paying that much attention to it. Not surprised that this stuff would get dark. Well that, and just of course fucked stuff like that would happen in that kind of environment. 2024 really has been the year of people getting exposed. Vince, Bork, Diddy, this, and I feel like I'm forgetting someone. Hell, while not on the same level, you even have that SBI stuff getting exposed and everyone rebelling against it.

PART 1 I never see anyone talk how DS treated some of the male actors on his shows. A couple of them like the guy played Beck from Victorious played characters whose gimmick was they were very attractive but didn't have a well developed character. It sends a bad message about how women view male attractive as this simple as long as a guy is attractive he doesn't need anything else. On the other hand when a female is viewed as very attractive she still gets a chance to be a well developed character. I've notice this a lot in fiction how verg attractive guys either are villains/jerks, are defined by a tragic backstory, or are just boring.

Hiding in the addict while my brothers friend babysat me police found us he get arrested and I get taken to the police station waiting hours for my mom to get me. Seeing my dad get swarmed by the cops and almost shot because of mistaken identity. This documentary specifically the drake episode was one of the first time in my life I felt sick watching something and regretted I watched it. I would say late 2019 to 2020 is when Cartoon Network started to have less original shows and had its life start draining from it. They still have a couple of good shows but other companies don’t really air cartoons on the channel anymore because they want to put them on their own streaming networks. It doesn’t help either that Warner Brothers-Discovery takes away a lot of money from CN and they are putting it in streaming, other properties, or just to save money because they don’t really respect or take cartoons seriously at all enough to invest money in it. Thats probably also why they rejected the animated Batman Beyond movie the Spiderverse people wanted to make for them aswell.

Drake Bell didn’t “do the exact same thing”. The allegations levied against him were largely exaggerated, but it was also revealed that he was instructed by his lawyer to plead guilty even though he wasn’t. Plus, what he was accused of was not molestation or pedophilia, but endangering the welfare of a minor through solicitation and lewd behavior, which is a verbose legalese way to say he had inappropriate text message conversations with a younger woman who was 17 at the time. Not excusing such behavior, but at the same time, let’s be real and accurate here. Conflating that to what he endured is blatantly exaggerating the facts.
