Another fun fact is that Kevin Dubrow's brother Terry is a famous reality television plastic surgeon. Terry's wife is part of the Real Housewives franchise and he went on to have his own program called Botched which ran for 8 years on Bravo where he and his partner would correct plastic surgeries gone wrong.

I went to Catholic grade school in the 80s, and this album was considered absolute contraband on school grounds -- mainly because of its cover art. We used to smuggle it in, anyway, and listen to it clandestinely at recess. LOL!

I saw Quiet Riot back in 1983 when they warmed up for Black Sabbath. Kevin Dubrow really knew how to pump up the crowd and they sounded great!

Quite Riot did a good job of covering Slades' "Mama Weer All Crazee Now" and this song. You really need to hear Noddy Holder singing both of those songs if you like the vocals of KD. Quite Riot was practically a Slade cover band which was good for reigniting Slades career which helped them produce their most successful US release of Run, Runaway which is a good track to react to. Which I would like to offer as a suggestion to react to for future consideration: Slade - Run, Runaway

One of the first hard rock albums I ever bought. Within like a month of discovering hard rock back in like 83' when I was 9/10 years old I discovered Randy Rhoads through my older sisters boyfriend who played guitar. He loaned me Ozzy's Blizzard of Oz album and I was hooked. I saved up all my allowances and lawn mowing money from the summer, and went down to the local record store and bought Ozzy's Blizzard and Diary albums, Quiet Riots Mental Health, Dio's Holy Diver and Iron Maidens Number of the Beast. Been playing guitar ever since.

I very often saw the members of Slade as they were from Wolverhampton in England, just where I lived at the time.
