I believe the band's manager did the "No rock n' roll!" Intro. Being this came out in 86', he was very correct about there being no rock n' roll in the future. I also believe this was Quiet Riot's response to Tipper Gore and her Washington wives, a.k.a. The Parents Music Resource Center (P.M.R.C.), and the "Tipper sticker" that was being affixed to rock, heavy metal, etc. albums the year prior. It was a form of censorship basically.

R.I.P Frankie Banali and Kevin DuBrow. IMO there isn't Quiet Riot without these pivitol people in the band especially Frankie. He is the one who kept the band going. I got to see the classic lineup on the Alive and Well tour

Fuck. I remember being in band in the 9th grade and I was head of the drum squad and my band director told me to come up with a cadence for our school and I played the beginning of the the wild and the Young and we rocked it so where friend Thank you for being a part of my life that I can never get back.

This fucking group deserves so much better than their relative anonymity. The joke has lasted long enough, even the Twisted Sisters have tasted the joys of recognition. So damn it, this band (and its many incarnations) must be held at the pinnacle of our love and respect for service to the noble cause of glam metal and all its derivatives. First class musicians built this pyramid and the 2022 monument is impressive to say the least. Imagine a new album with Jizzy and the future will be paved with gold. Thanks to those who fell and glory to those who raise the stele again.

The passing of Frankie Banali is tough one. I still play the intro at Guitar Center on drums and when people ask I say google Frankie Banali. I was 13 when this song came out and I’d play this song 20 times per day....so fun. My parents would tell me to play something else. No...love this one!

@@BoredOuttaMySkullBoi Why would I care about grunge? I pretty much can’t stand any of that music with the sole exception of AIC.

@@rapid13 I'm saying that they were one of the few bands that could effortlessly blend grunge and hair metal and make it sound awesome. Believe me, I hate grunge too, but Terrified is awesome.

I would visit his grave. I would bring roses, tear off the red flowers. Leave the strong vines with thorns. The man was hard and sharp. One of the best I ever have seen. I'd think he'd get that.
