The Intro is good, the sound is way too bombastic and nobody mixes records nowadays with tons of reverb anymore. Sounds cold and far away. If you leave away all this multiple efectosis you might eventually hear a very good song. Franki Banali RIP

I'm a drummer, and when I set my kit up to play somewhere, I play Frankie's intro as a warm up and to test the setup of the kit. I've been doing this since this track came out, and I've never once had someone recognize it. I keep holding out hope some day someone says "hey, ain't that Quiet Riot?"

Roaring passion With no guilt or shame It's accepting education, yeah! Misbehaving No regrets, no blame With a bold kind of sophistication So close to the edge And high on the wire They are not wrong They're alive The wild and the young They all have their dreams The wild and the young They've got to be free The sun never sets For souls on the run The wild and the young Ha! No disrespect to Peter, but when Eric came into the group, he gave the band the much needed “kick in the ass” it needed on this album. I remember during this time, it was awesome that KISS had a double bass drum kit and Eric knew how to play them and made it fit into their style. The fans accepted him and the group moved forward making a come back at that time.

This fucking group deserves so much better than their relative anonymity. The joke has lasted long enough, even the Twisted Sisters have tasted the joys of recognition. So damn it, this band (and its many incarnations) must be held at the pinnacle of our love and respect for service to the noble cause of glam metal and all its derivatives. First class musicians built this pyramid and the 2022 monument is impressive to say the least. Imagine a new album with Jizzy and the future will be paved with gold. Thanks to those who fell and glory to those who raise the stele again.

It is Sad no body today puts out that gut reching sound the way QR did. They will all be missed! RIP God Bless Kevin Dubrow and Frankie Banali founders if the band. 🙏💪

Growing up around 80 music from my dad blasting it in the car. He loves quiet riot, in particular the ‘mental health’ album but I missed this song. God must have knew the anthem of my life needed to be saved until today to discover it for the first time, it’s been on repeat almost 50 times now.

I believe the band's manager did the "No rock n' roll!" Intro. Being this came out in 86', he was very correct about there being no rock n' roll in the future. I also believe this was Quiet Riot's response to Tipper Gore and her Washington wives, a.k.a. The Parents Music Resource Center (P.M.R.C.), and the "Tipper sticker" that was being affixed to rock, heavy metal, etc. albums the year prior. It was a form of censorship basically.
