In this town of salem game I am the crusader in a coven ranked practice. Crusader has some major power, like being able to protect without dying like a bodyguard. The drawback of the crusader, you can take out your allies as well as enemies.

No role list :( I am assuming Tardy was Executioner with one of the two Stoned Townies as a target, since IIRC he came up as Sheriff/Executioner/Werewolf N1, thus "confirming" him, which is what made the Town lynching him all the worse and even further confusing... or rather on par until you pointed out how the Veteran was confirmed, which is what compounded everything with the whole "if inno lynch 2".

I think they lynched Tardy because he was possibly poisoner : Sheriff/Exe/Ww/Poisoner (invest results)

I don't recall ever seeing a Poisoner ever claiming Sheriff. It's always been either never claiming (dying at night before any requests for role), being found by LO or Tracker, or something else entirely.

@@puttster3 Except if you actually watched the video, they were already investigated d2, so the seed that "this guy could be poisoner" has already happened. Not that it matters becuase you dont get the point I'm trying to say. It's not about whether Tardy was actually poisoner (they weren't lol). It's about thinking as a town. As a town, whether I lynch tardy as they were lynched on the video depends on how fast I was thinking at the time. Ultimately, if I was fast enough, I would've come to the conclusion that either way it doesn't matter, since this mofo that was acting more like ne was alive with a poisoner on the loose (who happens to be a slow killer). If I wasn't fast enough there are plenty of other things I would've considered: 1.) Poisoner could pretend to be like 'obvious' jester -> lynch tardy 2.) There's that other guy who's barely talking and not confirmed -> not lynch tardy 3.) Then my conclusion if i was fast enough: Either way, if poisoner was pretending to be jester they would need time (lol, poisoner having time?) and ne was holding one of town's votes. Just guilty it since there's no vigi and barely any consequence to doing so. Also, we happen to have escort alive (poisoned) so we can prevent a poison for one more night (still doesnt matter, they getting lynched the next day with 3 votes against 1). Also, if i was a simpleton of a townie, I would've straight out lynched tardy based on the invest's n1 result. TL;DR the decision to lynch tardy wasn't necessarily a bad thing (in fact, it doesn't even matter with only two people who were really sus) Edit: 4* votes against 1. Also, if that escort just rb'ed the only other obvious sus person then they really wouldn't have been poisoned

He's confirmed evil and you are saying people are wrong because they wanna lynch someone not on the stand so should inno the evil who is on the stand... bad logic.

Yeah, even if he's not coven, which is what Skimm was trying to argue at the end, it doesn't matter, it's an evil role, just get it out of the game. Worst case scenario, it's jester (which it was) and a townie dies, which doesn't affect their huge majority anyways. Not to mention it made skimm look really suspicious and forced town to divert a night to invest and RB him.

It is though? It can protect without dying and is critical in late game comebacks. But, it's got a huge weakness as a lot of roles do.

It really is. It has got no way of defending itself, and the drawback to its ability forces it to stay away from people a TP would normally go on. Its survivability means It’s extremely unlikely for a crusader to make it to late game, and by then it might not even be able to kill the remaining evils, or it can even screw over town in the end. Early, crusader is at a high risk of killing town, and late it’s unlikely that it can really do much.

Does anyone else remember those first few times playing town of Salem and getting reported because you didn't understand too much about the game. One time I got reported on my second game(I was jailor) for not jailing anyone because I either didn't remember or I didn't know how to(I can't remember). Then I got reported for leaving as maf because I didn't know that was a bad thing on my fourth game. Those were the days....
