@@Desk_Socks well the problem is town is way too powerful for an asymmetrical game like this. And evils are way too weak. Town has way too many ways to kill mafia or prevent them from killing. Hell mafiso doesnt even get to decide who they kill at night and merely serve as a secondary gf and only when they are jailed or rbd. Mafioso should be replaced with a random mafia role so that the player has a choice of what to do at night

Just did a jester game today where I pretended to be a tracker in an all/any coven game. My will was utter garbage and yet people still went along with me, twice. Once to lynch an amnesiac that I swore up and down had to be potion master, (it was n1, sorry amne!) and again to lynch the pirate that I KNEW was necromancer. Eventually they had enough of my chaos and lynched me. One of them told me I was a bad player, so I haunted them. XD The salt was strong with that one.

Another reason to buff mafioso. I get people who leave as a GF and mafioso is even worse, because he can't even choose his target if Godfather is alive and well. As I once mentioned, it would be really cool, if mafioso had a one-shot pistol he could use for any target he wanted, even if GF targeted someone else, so one night there could be 2 maf kills. It would make playing mafioso more enjoyable, so he wouldn't be only a GF substitute and it would make it harder for town to win since they would have to act quicker.

A few Quick Questions regarding the rules: - If you fake/switch between 2+ roles in the game to get attention and hung, does that mean you achieved at both of the roles, only one of them, or none? (Example: You go from claiming Sheriff to claiming Invest and town hangs you.) - If you get a “Mercy Hang” from Mafia or NK, does that still count? (Example: There are three mafia, a townie, and you as Jester. You faked a townie role, and afterwards ask mafia to help you win. They agree and hang you.) - You claim a townie role and then claim Jester to town. Say, they agree to hang you (I know it’s rare but I’ve seen it happen in game), do you still get to win as whatever role you originally faked? (Example: You were faking Sheriff and it didn’t work. You tell town that you are Jester in hopes they will hang you and allow you to haunt someone they think is suspicious. They agree and you win.) This idea sounds super cool! I just wanted to know what your thoughts were!

I commonly claim Sheriff as Jester and "find" mafia. The hilarity is that in most of my recent games doing this tactic I actually got a member of the mafia lynched, thus confirming myself as Sheriff. I stay alive out of sheer luck or thanks to a TP then get lynched later by outing myself

Maybe they could buff Mafioso, allowing it to chose a secondary Mafia role that is not Mafioso nor Godfather, then when the Godfather is not Jailed they get to use the abilities of his choice but will have 2 visits in the same day, making some very complex plays possible.

Part of the struggle is that maf only has one kill per night with both GF and Mafioso taking up Maf slots. Town has way more killing and reconnaissance power despite town being unknown to each other. Plus town is more often than not easily confirmable. Playing as NK is just.. ugh. Playing evil just isn't fun if there's not even a 50% chance you'd lose. More like 80% unless you get lucky or ultra skilled at the game. Not saying it's right that evils leave but i can understand it.

Would claiming Jailor out loud and then claiming mayor in jail, and then getting lynched for not being jailor or revealing as mayor, count in your eyes towards a jailor claim win? Or perhaps being in a classic game? That would be real easy in comparison there. Actually in ranked you could claim jailor n2 as a fake exe with the person not claiming in jail, that would be a massive fake exe play and you're technically claiming jailor.

How about with the jailor/jester, you can claim jailor when jailor is dead and they can think you're janitor? I know they may assume you're jester, but it is an idea at least? It can only work if it's a janitor game anyway and jailor dies.

So... you can report D1 leavers, but they cannot be punished. YET.. The devs decided that leaving is no longer guilty based on history as of the switch to Pay to Play.. HOWEVER, they are supposed to be working on a leaver buster, but it got put on hold for Unity switch. Also, that guy is a self entitled loser for leaving just cuz he got mafia Also Also, Karl Franz can be reported and found guilty for leaving, and Gamora is guilty of gamethrowing for being afk

There are 3 times as many killing roles for town, combined with all the other roles that mafia can do nothing about make it so easy to lose.
