Quillboar are the new banana slamma. Every lobby that has quillboar everyone is racing for the same freaking comp, and unless you have crazy tech like reborn Leroys or gold Bramblewitches with windfury you will never be able to deal with the insane stats quillboar can pump out.

Good job, you've defined what a meta is. Every instance of a game is a going to have an optimal strategy that everyone is going to want to run. Quillboar aren't the new banana slamma, banana slamma was just the meta before now.

Atleast quil can die to scam since there will only be 7 high Stat minions, while banana slamma builds have 30+ minions with 300/300 in stats

I wouldn't say they are slamma level bad. You could try to force slamma pretty much risk free because for some weird reason it was a midrange build with quills though all the strong cards are on 6 or 5 so if you don't get them early you're just dead

Rock Rock builds can contest their stats actually, if you have enough APM and sources of money. (which the money part is pretty easy since the build wants to run brann+tavern tempest+trigger battlecry effects)

What makes the Quilboars really strong is that you pretty much always get free scaling rounds because one team goes out and you'll face the ghost at some point, usually even multiple times. You face someone with 100-100 Quilboars and then the next time you face them they will be 700-700s or more and most games in duos go for like 15-16 rounds at least. It's kind of lame in that regard.

Lobbies have turned into both players rush to get quillboarsand send them all to one person. The other person doesn't even play a board. Quilboars get so ridiculous so fast that the game is over. Also f shutterwock that hero is beyond broken it destroys every lobby I've been in.

Tbh the best quilboar to get early is snarling conductor, especially in duos since its hard to level up fast

Idk about quilboar, but i see so many people going midrange dragons and its so hard to survive past it. They scale really strongly if you have a couple of the right things, but they fall off late if you have a real build going. But again, its so hard to live to that point without getting stomped out early

I funny Idea that I just had, you could have 2 hearthstone accounts and play duo battlegrounds with yourself and see if you can win while playing 2 boards at once, probably not to hard but who knows. I might have to try that sometime

Duo videos when they're not with a second person who you can hear. Talking are really not fun to watch because it's like watching a neutered version of the game and then either he's deciding what's good for his teammate or his teammate just ignores him. I am certain duos are more fun to play. They are certainly not nearly as fun to watch. I think I've probably only watched the full duo videos when he was doing that with that lady for the first couple videos he posted.

Yeah, they are more fun because you have a greater chance of getting access the cards that make a comp, decreasing how much luck matters.

Bro is making a video on quilboar with the title saying they need to be nerfed, when this is *LAST PATCH* and quilboard *have been nerfed* for like 3 weeks. At least the battlecry quilboar from the thumbnail.

The intro addresses the fact that they basically aren't nerfed anyway still. Because the 2 gem battlecry boar got nerfed to 1 gem, but buffed to T4, it means you're going to golden it with the tavern spell, and prior you were rarely ever going to golden the 2 gem version to 4 gems. Even if you were, you weren't going to get 2 goldens, and now you will likely have 2 goldens next to your t6 murloc. They didnt get it this game but to be fair they also didn't find a single drakkari enchanter between the two of them for several turns.

Quillboar even with rylak nerfed are still incredibly op. They still need a pretty big Nerf in duos at least
