At 14:30 @Quill18 brings up a menu and talks about it for the rest of the video. The problem is I do not know what button get that window. :( Can anyone tell me how to get that pop-up. Yes I am brand new to EU4 and I have watched 2 tutorial group of videos to learn this game (quill18 was the second one but much better then the first youtuber) but he never talked about this in them. I enjoyed Quill18 tutorial so much more that now I plan on watching this whole series to learn more so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I didnt saw the buildings one (but it is so freaking good!) but I saw diplomacy macro - and as soon as I saw it - even though there is many others amazing stuff in this expansion - I declared this feature the best feature :D I am so hyped about it! Its a shame that I dont have much time to play right now, but as soon as I find some I will jump back and play again!

csfelfoldi Before you would just play a daimyo and in 30 years you could form Japan. Now it seems harder, but there's more development in Japan now.

eminemishh The problem was that your vassals would get 100% liberty desire after 2 months so you go broke instantly, have 0 manpower all the time cause they are always declaring independence wars and take 150 years to unite Japan. While if you played Hosokawa you could declare Sengoku 1 day before your troops arrive on top of the enemy effectively turning 2v1s into 1v1s in your favor and do it in 10 years (8 years of it being sieges) while getting rich off war gold.

Depends on the situation. There's complex math you could do but essentially, if you make more money collecting rather then funneling, collection is good. Try collecting, then switch to forwarding, and see which one's better.

Japan at this time is mostly Buddhist. Shinto is more an evolution of Buddism and took most of it's traits. Also when the game starts Shinto hadn't really developed yet. It wasn't until the 16th century when influences such as Islam and Christianity started that Buddism developed into Shintoism.
