Thank you for this perfect introduction video! You answered all of my questions -- but one. What kind of paper, or board, (or card stock?) should I be gluing the curled paper onto - so that the paper underneath the curls doesn't bend easily & I can frame it later if I want to?
@PaperZenCeceliaLouie4 жыл бұрын
Hi Sarah, welcome to quilling! I have glued my quilling to all types of paper and card stocks. If you plan to frame it then certainly stiff board such as mat boards are more suitable. Buckling and warping of your work surface becomes as issue if one uses too much glue or is the glue type is very watery. If you are worried then I suggest a medium weight paper, at least 80 lb text weight or even 80 lb card. I have a glue tutorial here that may be helpful: Quilling Glue Basics - 5 Helpful Tips for Beginners: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nnivZoN6j9KsqtE
