Hello! I was at a quilling workshop and we made a picture with flowers. at the end we coated it with varnish. I didn't like it the most, because I thought it looked better without the varnish. Can you tell me if this is really necessary or not. Thank you very much for the answer and of course for all the videos in which you nicely guide beginners through the initial problems.
@azlinaabdul Жыл бұрын
Hello! Sorry for the late reply! Personally, I don't like coating the quilling shapes with varnish or whatever type of medium to seal it. Especially for vortex shapes, I feel that it is best to leave it as it is. I never coat my quilling crafts with varnish but if the shape is solid, like tight coils, then it would be suitable to use something like Mod Podge to seal the shape. For making earrings and pendants, it is also advisable to seal it.

Beautiful work, but where do you get that very fine-toothed quilling comb?. It looks ideal.

Thank you so much, I got it from DAISO, but you can get it from any pet store near you. It is actually a flea comb 😁.
