@@LetsGoSewwithJoanneBanko LOL! I feel the same way when I watch someone handle fabric, which someone comes alive when I ever attempt sewing. Aw, you're so sweet! Why is it that when we are in the depths of writing, it feels incredibly lonely and as if our efforts are going nowhere? And then after we raise the curtains and hear people see what we see, it's as if the unending months slowly evaporate? I've given my husband permission to shoot me if I ever talk about writing another book again! hahhahaa! Do you ever feel like this?

You make it look so easy! I love your last book, but still finding it very difficult. I did find buying creap pre-cut quilling paper was my down fall. Thicker paper like you suggested works alot better.
@PaperZenCeceliaLouie4 жыл бұрын
Yay! I'm glad you like my latest book - it seemed to take forever to finish. Aw, I'm sorry, yes I have been told I make it look easy. However, I hope you know that anyone who is learning how to ride a bike will feel that way if they compare themselves to someone who has been biking for 10 years. It does take some time for your fingers to learn. YES! I agree that buying cheap quilling paper makes a difference in my quilling too. I find my fingers need to coax the paper into shape extra gently. Perhaps it's better to use with traditional type of quilling, using more coils and smaller designs. Did you manage to find thicker paper? What kind did you buy?

@@PaperZenCeceliaLouie what is the perfect size of paper.. how can I find perfect paper for this craft. What are the main features we need to look for before buying it.?? Love this book. U r becoming my inspiration ❤️ lots of love

@@Hereforcrafts The paper I’m using is Canson Mi-Tientes, which is thicker than conventional quilling paper. It’s 160 gsm in weight and I cut my own strips at 1/4 inch width using a Cricut Explore cutting machine. I buy it at my local fine art supply store, where illustration supplies are sold. It is not sold in craft supply stores. Here’s an Amazon Affiliate link for more details: amzn.to/3blLPl3

Cecelia, what was the grey tool you used to shape the letter a. It looks fantastic. Best wishes from Northern Ireland. x
@PaperZenCeceliaLouie4 жыл бұрын
Great question Lyn! Can't believe I forgot to mention that tool. It's just a plain metal crochet hook but you can use anything around the house that has a similar circumference.

Hi, does this new ebook include the pages to be printed for the whole alphabet?
@PaperZenCeceliaLouie4 жыл бұрын
Hello Pat, yes the measurements to make all upper and lowercase letters a-z are on pages 8-14. You can see a thumbnail view of them at about 1 minute in to the video here.
@patschwab40834 жыл бұрын
@@PaperZenCeceliaLouie Thanks, I had to blow it up to see it better. I assume this means when we purchase the ebook we can print the alphabet sheets out as many time as we need to? Do you just use regular printing paper or something heavier when you print out the letter pages?
