You have done a great job of designing and recording a series to teach someone who does not sew how to make a quilt. Your explanations of why as well as how are well thought out. I've seen other videos that leave out the why or gloss over it and rush through the how. I would recommend this series to anyone who asks me how to make a quilt, then I can lend them one on one support when they need it.

The darker fabrics are all the middle squares in my three rows. How do I press the seams?

I love this block. I’m getting my fabric and going to make this quilt. I was wondering if I could use 10 in square blocks. Thank you.

And make sure you read your sewing machine manual end to end, so it doesn’t take you five years to discover you have a setting for the perfect quarter inch seam 😪

I thought you have to press seams open always?!? I think I watched video elwhere you said you do so ...🤔
@QuiltAddictsAnonymous Жыл бұрын
I'm so sorry, but what are you asking?

@@QuiltAddictsAnonymous sorry mistyped.,seams open not seems own.,🙃 In this video it's not opened but pressed to one side... Why?
@spartangamers7783 Жыл бұрын
@@lilianag.p.7836I believe because this is a beginner quilt she is having people press seams to the side. In the video (15 tips for beginner quilters) she does talk about pressing open, but says for this series or new quilter patterns she often just uses to the side. Hope that helps
