You might consider a different type microphone. It sounds like you're constantly gasping for air. Please don't take this as a negative you're an excellent teacher.

I absolutely LOVE you & your teaching! I do second the request for a different sound system for you? It makes me so anxious that you sound like you’re struggling to gasp for breath?

Hi, I really love your video. Great directions and explanations. I’m sure I did something wrong, but I was trying to make a finished size of 3 1/2( for a different quilt pattern) . I used your formulas of adding 1 1/4 “to my fished size for 2 squares and 1” for the 3rd square. The blocks finished at 4”, before trimming. Yours were so much closer to the finished size. Any thoughts?

It was probably the seam allowance. Everyone's 1/4" seam allowance is slightly different and tiny differences can result in things like what you experienced. That's why we leave wiggle room to trim!

Sorry to ask...why do you say "FQ square" for size of your pieces to be sewn into HST's??? They look approx 5" square/or charm square size. As far as I know...FQ's are MUCH larger. Right?
@QuiltAddictsAnonymous Жыл бұрын
Great question! The pattern is written for fat quarters and when we say "fat quarter square", we're differentiating it from the background pieces.

@@QuiltAddictsAnonymous I'm not sure that makes any sense. But, If you think it does, that's ok. As far as I know..."FQ square" is NOT a size. A charm square is usually 5" square (that's a size)!
