Great work, so easy to follow. I am getting the q16 for my birthday in February next year so really excited.

My local quilt shop has those Amanda Murphy rulers and now I really want to read her books on ruler work because it looks like a good way to get comfortable with machine quilting in a different way than using the walking foot. Thank you for another fun video!

It’s beautiful! I liked both front and back. I guess it’ll make a wonderful interchangeable table mat for kids 😀 fun

Hi Irene, thank you for the video and inspiration. I’d like to know if I can do this with an old 910 Bernina Matic. Do I need a special foot to use rulers or can I use the darning foot that comes with the machine?

Love this demonstration. What setting did you use? Which ruler foot was used? I am waiting for my new machine and can't wait to try FMQ. Thanks
@Sugaridoo3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Ruler foot #72, the setting was BSR1, SPI=10, RPM=250 on my Bernina Q16. Enjoy your new machine, so exciting!!!

Did you lower the foot. I don’t know what you call them in English
@meghanplamondon86393 жыл бұрын
On a Q16 and Q 20, the feet are always hidden. These machines are especially made for FMQ, free motion quilting .

@@meghanplamondon8639 I don’t understand, which feet are hidden? Do you mean the feed dogs?
@corgilover573 жыл бұрын
On the Q16 and Q20 there aren't any feed dogs to lower. It is simply a free motion quilting machine. Hope this answers your question.
