Welcome to Oklahoma! I just moved here a year and a half ago to be with my daughter who came here to go to OSU. Love what you’ve done to set up your room I am outside the Tulsa area. Are we at all close to each other?

It looks amazing! Way to go Emerald! You’ll continue to change things up as you go. I know having space for lil man to join you as you quilt is a must. ❤

Love how you've accommodated your new space restrictions. The closet looks like a very workable option. I'd suggest you add some lighting there to help when you're auditioning fabric and I'd also set up a big ironing station in there (again, well lit) so that you always have it available and don't need to mess with an ironing board. Something with storage space beneath would probably be a great option. Also, consider ways to store items beneath your longarm - especially that batting roll. The display walls all over the space are incredible. Your view is spectacular and glad you could put your sewing space near that window. Love the personal touches and amazed how quickly you've set this up after the move - YOU ROCK!

you will get more comfortable with the longarm. and wobbles in quilting don't show as much once the quilt is washed.
