Quilting Snowflake Video Tutorial

What marking pen did you use? I've been having issues with my blue fabric pen that is supposed to fade, not fadig and staying on my projects! You make this look so easy.

Good question, Karen. Marking on light color fabrics is a challenge for me as well. I like using a Hera marker the best for light colored fabrics, but it's not always the right choice. In this case I used a Collins Wonder Marker. I have found it works best to use a very diluted mix of Dawn dish soap in water when removing if I can't fully wash the quilt right away. The biggest risk with markers like this is that the dye from lines might reappear at the edges of the washed area or reappear when the quilt gets cold.
