Just discovered your channel and your beautiful quilts. The ones behind you are stunning, I adore the colour ways you’ve used. I’m new to quilting, though I’ve been sewing for over 50 years. For Christmas I made my parents a table runner….. start with something simple! It was over 6ft long and 32” wide. I had a fairly old blunt blade in the trimmer, an a4 cutting mat and a cardboard template. It was far from straight or perfect and I wasn’t able to quilt it properly I just did a zigzag across the seams. It wouldn’t pass any exams but for a first attempt I’m proud of it and my parents loved it .

I'm watching replay. Thank you, Edyta, for your encouragement. If you don't push yourself you'll never know your abilities. My new challenge is Tahoe, and Alaska BOM. Excited, yes. Terrified, absolutely, but I'm determined.

I'm going to do Alaska bom. I've always wanted to make this one. Don't be terrified for Tahoe. I made mine from january to end of october 2024. It takes time. At the begining I had to redo lots of blocks, but it worth it, and today, I'm very proud of what I hava accomplished. Take your time is the Word. Good Lucky. You will love it.

Is the Heritage Feathered Star pattern/kit a beginner friendly quilt? Also, I am just going by what I see, so I am wondering if you recommend any FPP for all the triangles to ensure accuracy if you cut your own fabric? Great show today. I love the Dahlia Star. It is just stunning!
