I bought several feet of unknown brand off Amazon before I found your shop. Even though it said shipped by Amazon, the package still came from overseas. I understand that most of these components are now made overseas. But I would much rather buy and do business with American 2:06 businesses. So glad I found your shop.

That was very helpful. I was unaware of the neutral position to lock stitches. Thank you.

I didn't know abut the parallel position of the stitch selector allowing you to stitch in place and lock stitches. I always learn something new, Thank You!

Great demo using the walking foot. Thank you so much for the precise instructions!

Oh, I just found the written instructions and placement photo on your site. Thanks. I would still love a video, though. You are such a great company. I just love how my walking foot was wrapped so pretty with fine paper and a sweet rick rack tie. I teased my husband and told him it was a gift from my boyfriend, and did not immediately unwrap it. Ha! .....funny because he is the one how ordered it for me just a few days ago.

Thank you for the explanation. How do you use the bar that comes with it to line up rows?

Interesting stitching in place to lock at the start of a line is stitching vs the usual forward-reverse-forward. What’s the reasoning behind that?

If you use the walking foot for regular piecing, how do you maintain a 1/4" seam allowance?
@Redsquirl303 жыл бұрын
its interesting, on my 221, I never had to remove the thread cutter to operate this foot. But now that I found a 222k which this model is in this video, you have to.

I have your walking foot and haven’t used it. I will tomorrow!!

I just received the walking foot from you. How does the seam guide bar work? I am so excited!
@featherweightshop5 жыл бұрын
Draw one pencil line to make your initial quilting line. You can then insert the bar in either direction and follow along, using the bar, the previous quilting line to make all your subsequent quilting lines evenly spaced.

I love that walking foot! I have a “singer” branded one but the feed dogs don’t match up. I’m gonna look for yours! Thanks

Do you have to loosen the tension to get the longer stitch length? I am using the stitch length of 6 but still getting a smaller stitch length.
@featherweightshop4 жыл бұрын
No, the tension shouldn't be too loose, but you may need to adjust the pressure on the presser bar. Check out our other video tutorials for how to adjust. Happy to help!

Is there a walking foot for the singer 201-3 sewing machine? Where can I get one?
@featherweightshop4 жыл бұрын
Yes, it would be the same one as for the Featherweight. They are both low shank, straight stitch machines, so the feeding would be similarly aligned: singer-featherweight.com/products/walking-foot-even-feed

I ordered this foot from you which arrived with no instructions. I didn’t know to remove the thread cutter and I broke the plastic mount trying to get it to go down properly. Wonder if you will replace it?
