What a great quilt! Please, take some advice from an older quilter. MAKE MORE QUILTS FOR YOURSELF! I’ve been quilting for six years, but never made one for my self until last Fall. What did I make? A Halloween quilt! I love Fall colors. You have such a giving heart, but don’t short change yourself! It’s apart of self care to make beautiful things for yourself. Thanks for showing us this beautiful quilt.

Fabulous job! This is a beautiful quilt! I have seen the pattern before in books, but never saw one that was made! I probably would have tried to find ways I could combine little squares into larger pieces to cut. But I love your scrappy look best! It is so pretty! Such a lucky recipient!

This would look so good in a blue and white winter theme as well! I am experimenting with open seams, as well. What is your final opinion? It definitely takes longer to iron.

It felt like it took for-ev-er with the open seams, but i do have to say it lays pretty flat!
